Configure your email
Enter your address — we'll detect your device and set up everything in one tap.
Auto-configure your mail app
Recommended — no manual server settings.
Works on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows (Outlook), Android, Thunderbird. Your password is never transmitted — only your address.
iPhone / iPad
- 1. Enter your email in Auto-configure and tap the iPhone button.
- 2. iOS opens Settings → Profile downloaded. Tap Install in the top-right.
- 3. Enter your iPhone passcode, then Install again to confirm.
- 4. When prompted, type your mailbox password. Tap Done.
- 5. Open Mail — your inbox is syncing.
First-time install shows an orange "Not verified" badge — that's expected, the profile is signed by mailazur but not by Apple.
iPhone / iPad / Apple Mail
- 1. Use Auto-configure on your Mac and click the Mac button.
- 2. Open the downloaded
.mobileconfigfile → System Settings opens. - 3. Click Install, enter your Mac password.
- 4. Enter your mailbox password when prompted.
- 5. Mail.app picks it up automatically.
Microsoft Outlook
- 1. Outlook → File → Add Account.
- 2. Type your email
you@yourcompany.com→ Connect. - 3. Outlook detects the settings automatically via
autodiscover.mailazur.com. - 4. Enter your password → OK.
Outlook for Mac may ask for "IMAP" — pick it; the server details are auto-filled.
Mozilla Thunderbird
- 1. File → New → Existing Mail Account.
- 2. Name, email
you@yourcompany.com, password → Continue. - 3. Thunderbird auto-detects via
autoconfig.mailazur.com. - 4. Click Done.
Android
Android mail apps don't yet support the autoconfig spec — use the server settings from the Manual setup section below.
- 1. Open the Gmail app → tap your profile → Add another account → Other.
- 2. Enter your email → Next → Personal (IMAP).
- 3. Password → fill server details from the manual section.
- 4. Confirm.

| Webmail | webmail.mailazur.com |
| IMAP (incoming) | ssl0.ovh.net · port 993 · SSL/TLS |

| Username | Your full email address (you@yourcompany.com) |
| Password | The one we sent you (changeable in webmail Settings) |
| Authentication | Password — same credentials for IMAP and SMTP |
mailazur is built on top of OVH Zimbra — that's why server hostnames read ssl0.ovh.net.
You can ignore this detail: your mail app stores it once and you only ever see the
"mailazur" account name afterwards.
Troubleshooting
"Cannot connect to server"
Double-check the port (993 for IMAP, 465 for SMTP) and that SSL/TLS is enabled, not STARTTLS. Your firewall/ISP may block these ports — try mobile data.
"Authentication failed"
Username must be the full email address (you@yourcompany.com), not just the local part. If you forgot your password, reset it from the webmail.
"Profile not verified" warning on iPhone
Expected — the profile is signed by mailazur but not by Apple. Tap Install anyway: the configuration only sets server hostnames + your address (no app permissions, no certificates).
Sent emails go to spam
When you ordered, we configured SPF, DKIM and DMARC automatically. Allow 24-48h for receivers to learn your reputation. If issues persist, contact us.
I want to migrate my old emails
Once configured, drag-and-drop folders from your old IMAP account to your new mailazur folders in the same client. Or contact us — we can do it server-side.
